Out of the Blueprint is a social enterprise supporting young artists in Scotland through the power of print.
From our studio in Leith, we use Risograph and Gocco printing to produce beautiful and unique artwork, posters, flyers, T-shirts, tote bags, mags, comics and zines.
When you print with us you’re supporting our work with young people. Your print job gives us valuable work to produce alongside our trainees, young people with barriers to employment or additional support needs gaining hands-on experience of a working studio in a friendly, nurturing environment.
This also helps us generate revenue which we can then use to fund paid residencies for artists at the start of their careers, as well as helping young people with great ideas print and publish their own comics and zines.
We help young artists to realise their potential, whatever stage they’re at.
Out of the Blueprint has 3 main areas of operation:
Eco friendly and affordable risograph and gocco print service for posters, flyers, t-shirts, artwork and more
Unique, supportive training programme for young people with disabilities & barriers to employment
Helping young creatives through a full programme of exhibitions, residencies, publications & events
