We’re very lucky to welcome our new artist in residence Lucy Grainge to the Blueprint studio. Lucy’s artwork features bright colours and abstract layering of bold shapes - something we think will be perfect for riso printing!
We were drawn to Lucy’s artwork after seeing her recent project on dyslexia - she creates strong graphic images that visually represent dyslexia as a different way of brain processing. We really admired how Lucy has taken something so often viewed negatively and turned it into a celebration of something undeniably positive.
Over the next two months, Lucy will be developing a body of work expanding her research on dyslexia and exploring the possibilities of riso printing. We can’t wait to see what she comes up with!
